A GLIMPSE OF WAYNE HORVITZ’S 55: MUSIC & DANCE IN CONCRETE

The magnificence of this new project spearheaded by Wayne Horvitz is boundless, with stunning work by Yukio Suzuki / KINGYO, Yohei Saito, and Tucker Martine.

The premiere performances are complete but the sound and video components of the installation will remain at the Arizona State University Art Museum through the end of the month.

Above – video by Yohei Saito of the installation’s premiere in Port Townsend, WA.

I recorded clarinet and bass clarinet with Horvitz and Martine in the bunkers at Fort Worden back in June.
